Portfolio import

Your portfolio, imported in under a minute

Drop your broker's CSV export: Finvygo picks up your positions and adds them to your portfolio, no line by line re-entry.

Your file is read on your device, never uploaded as is

Your broker's export is read and analyzed directly on your computer or your phone. Once you've checked your positions, only those positions, structured and validated by you, are sent to Finvygo: never the raw file. To improve broker recognition, we also receive, on every import, technical information (platform, number of rows and columns, detected separators, the institution name if you enter it) and, when the format isn't recognized, its column names with their type (number, date, text) and shape (decimal separator, thousands grouping). Never your rows, never the value of your quantities or amounts.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop your file

Export your positions as a CSV file from your broker, then drag it into Finvygo.

  2. 2

    Check your positions

Finvygo recognizes the columns automatically when it can. Otherwise, an assistant asks about them one by one, with a preview of your data. You fix anything that needs it before continuing.

  3. 3

    Import

Your positions are added to the account you choose. Nothing disappears quietly: any discarded row, or one merged into an existing position, stays visible.

Supported brokers

This list reflects the profiles that are actually active in Finvygo today. It grows as new ones are added, without waiting for an app update.

The broker list is loading

That's fine, you can still import right now. Drop your broker's CSV file of positions, the manual matching assistant recognizes your columns in seconds.

No dedicated guide for your broker?

That's not a problem: drop your CSV file of positions anyway. An assistant asks you, column by column, what it contains, with a preview of your data. Your file is imported, whether or not a profile is recognized.

Frequently asked questions

Is the import free?

Yes, like the rest of Finvygo. Importing has no subscription and no limit on the number of positions.

Which files can be read?

Your broker's CSV export of positions. Reading other file formats isn't available yet.

What if my broker isn't in the list?

You can still import: drop your CSV file, an assistant helps you identify each column. If your broker doesn't offer a CSV export of your positions, importing isn't possible for that account yet.

What happens if a position already exists in my portfolio?

You choose, row by row: merge it into the existing position, import it as a separate position, or ignore it.

Can I cancel an import?

Yes, as long as the created positions haven't been edited since. Positions merged into an existing one are the exception, and that's shown before you confirm.

Is the cost basis of my positions known after import?

It depends on your broker. When the file doesn't provide it, Finvygo uses the price on the day of import when available, and flags the position as needing a cost basis.
