What is the risk score of my net worth?
Allocation by asset class, weight of each position, share of volatile assets and leverage (debts against gross value): your assistant derives a score and tells you what drives it up.
What do you think of my allocation, and what would you advise?
Your assistant reads your allocation by asset class, currency and broker, then gives its view: imbalances, duplicates, forgotten pockets. The opinion is its own, never Finvygo's.
In how many years can I reach financial independence?
Your net worth, its pace of growth over the history, and the monthly savings you give it: your assistant projects the year your capital covers your expenses.
What is my currency risk exposure?
Each position carries its quote currency: your assistant adds up the exposure per currency and estimates the effect of a 10% move on your net worth.
What was my biggest drop, and how long did it take to recover?
Your net worth history over the period of your choice: your assistant spots the worst drawdown, its length and the date it got back to the previous level.
Is my allocation close to Ray Dalio's All Weather portfolio?
Your assistant compares your allocation to a public model, class by class, and quantifies the gaps. It measures, the decision stays yours.
Add a holding to your portfolio
The assistant never sets the priceYour assistant can add a holding to your portfolio. We would rather say so plainly than let you find out: it is the only thing it can write, and it only does so from what you have just asked for.
Before any addition, Finvygo prepares a summary and has it displayed in your conversation, as an embedded confirmation panel or as a confirmation request, depending on your client. Until that confirmation comes back, Finvygo writes nothing. If your client can display neither, the addition goes through directly, from the information in your request alone: the asset, the quantity, the date and the account. The price is never the one the assistant proposes, Finvygo uses the closing price it recorded. The holding appears in your portfolio straight away, where you can correct it or delete it.
If your client can display a confirmation, an addition stays reversible through your assistant for fifteen minutes, as long as you have not edited the holding in the meantime. Otherwise the undo is never offered to it: the holding is deleted in the app, at any time.
What it cannot do
- It cannot edit or delete a holding you entered yourself.
- It has no access to your bank accounts: Finvygo is declarative, there is no connection to any bank or broker.
- It never sees your password or your private key: authorization goes through a dedicated token.
- You can revoke its access at any time, from your settings.
- Authorization stays active as long as you use it. It expires after 30 days without use, and after 90 days at the latest either way.

Can I connect ChatGPT to a net worth tracker?
Yes. Finvygo exposes a standard MCP server, and any compatible client, including ChatGPT, can connect to it to read your net worth.
Can Claude read my portfolio?
Yes, once the Finvygo connector is added and access is authorized. Claude then queries Finvygo every time you ask a question.
What is an MCP server?
MCP, for Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets an AI assistant connect to an outside service. Finvygo exposes one, which saves you from retyping your numbers by hand into a conversation.
Which assistants are compatible?
Any client that implements MCP with OAuth authorization. Reading works everywhere. Adding additionally requires the write permission to have been granted when connecting; after that, what changes is the way it gets confirmed, depending on whether your client can display an embedded panel, a confirmation request, or neither.
Can my assistant edit or delete my holdings?
It can read, and add a holding. It cannot change anything you entered yourself, and can only remove the addition it just made, within fifteen minutes and if your client can display a confirmation. It never decides the entry price: either the confirmation comes back to Finvygo with the summary, or Finvygo uses the closing price it recorded.
Do I need to give my bank credentials?
No, never. Finvygo is declarative: you enter your holdings yourself, no bank connection exists, neither for you nor for your assistant.
How do I revoke an assistant's access?
From your Finvygo settings, at any time. Access stops immediately. It also expires on its own: after 30 days without use, or after 90 days at the latest.
Does it cost anything?
No. Connecting an assistant is included, like the rest of Finvygo, with no subscription or premium tier.
Can I connect a coding agent such as Claude Code?
Yes. Claude Code, Cursor and other coding agents that implement MCP connect to the same server, with the same OAuth authorization. You add the server URL, approve access in your browser, then query your net worth from your terminal or your editor.
