Finvygo vs Finary
Two ways to track your wealth. One real trade-off.
Finary syncs your accounts automatically and keeps most of its features behind a subscription, from €54.99 to €349.99 a year. Finvygo works with no bank connection at all, on declarative entry, and stays free with no tiers. The choice comes down to what you agree to trade: a little typing time against access to your accounts.

WHERE EACH ONE WINS
Where one does better than the other
Neither is a watered down version of the other. They took different paths, and each path has its upsides.

With more than 20,000 connectable institutions, balances and positions arrive without typing. That is aggregation's main argument, and it is a real one.Budgeting in the same app

THE REAL TRADE-OFF
Your typing time, or access to your accounts
Aggregation saves you time and makes you dependent on a middleman. Declarative entry asks a few minutes a month and asks nothing else. Everything else follows from that choice.

- You have many accounts and want them to update without you.
- You also track your budget and everyday spending.
- You want to take out life insurance or buy crypto in the same app.
- You are looking for a French speaking community to talk with.
- An annual subscription does not put you off.
WHAT YOU GAIN
Balances always up to date, a single counter.

A subscription beyond 2 connections, and handing your bank access to an aggregator.
CHOOSE FINVYGO IF
You want to stay in control
- You do not want to give access to your accounts, to anyone.
- You want a complete and free tool, with no tier and no trial that expires.
- You live or invest outside France, or in several currencies.
- You want to ask Claude or ChatGPT about your wealth.
- You care about an anonymous account, with a private key.
WHAT YOU GAIN
Full control of your data, zero cost, a tool with nothing to sell you.
WHAT IT ASKS OF YOU
Updating unlisted balances yourself, a few minutes a month.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
What we get asked the most
Is Finvygo a free alternative to Finary?
For wealth tracking, yes: Finvygo covers the same asset classes, computes net worth, performance and passive income, and all of it is free with no tiers. It does not replace Finary for budget tracking, nor for buying investment products, which Finvygo does not offer.
Is Finary free?
Finary has a free version capped at 2 account syncs. Subscriptions run from €54.99 a year (Lite) to €149.99 (Plus) and €349.99 (Pro), according to its pricing page checked on 3 September 2026.
Do you have to connect your bank?
With Finary, automatic syncing goes through the Powens aggregator, which holds your bank credentials. With Finvygo, never: you enter your positions, market prices update on their own, and a crypto wallet is imported from its public address.
Can you move from Finary to Finvygo?
Yes. If you have an export of your positions as a CSV file, Finvygo imports it. Crypto wallets are added by public address. The rest, savings accounts, real estate and loans, is entered in a few minutes, once and for all.
Which one should you use outside France?
Finvygo is available in every country, in 12 languages and 19 currencies, with a product catalogue of its own for each country. Finary comes in French, English and German, and its help centre notes that the iOS app is unavailable in some countries.
Which one plugs into Claude or ChatGPT?
Finvygo exposes a standard MCP connector: your assistant reads your wealth, your passive income and your allocation, and can add a position. On the pages consulted, Finary documents no connection to an external assistant.
Who wrote this comparison?
